Marcus Phuah

 

Marcus Phuah is the founder and owner of specialist law practice Marcus Phuah & Co., and Managing Director of corporate advisory services firm - Legalasia Corporate Advisory Pte Ltd, focusing on Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Intellectual Property Licensing, Commodities, Energy, Projects, Supply Chain & Logistics.

Marcus is a seasoned negotiator and business lawyer, having extensive experience negotiating and successfully concluding complex multi-million dollar projects across Asia-Pacific.

Prior to setting up his own specialist law firm, Marcus practised at one of the world’s leading international law firms, Eversheds. He was later General Counsel at Asia’s most ambitious natural resources conglomerates.

Marcus joined Eversheds from Honeywell International Inc. where he was the Asia-Pacific Director responsible for infrastructure contracts and intellectual property licensing.

 

 

Marcus has had extensive experience negotiating both public and private sector IT/Technology procurement projects. Marcus joined Honeywell from Motorola where he was Regional Director for Contracts. Prior to Motorola, Marcus had served as Legal & Regulatory Affairs Counsel at Hutchison Telecom and at the Singapore Legal Service (Attorney-General’s Division) as Legal Counsel for the Ministry of Defence.
